Call for Contributions
The SIAA workshop aims to bring together experts from both academic and industry backgrounds, discussing practical applications of Socially Intelligent Agents. Fostering platforms that encourage regular interaction between researchers and industry professionals could significantly facilitate the transfer of scientific knowledge to practical implementations.
The workshop will be held in person on September 19th in Glasgow, as part of the 24th ACM International Conference on Intelligent Virtual Agents (IVA) 2024.
Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions of one of the following forms:
Short papers (max. 6 pages excluding references):
Papers discussing novel research or applications under one (or more) of the workshop's themes (see below).
Demo/poster papers (max. 3 pages excluding references):
Papers discussing work-in-progress, illustrating preliminary results, or describing practical applications (e.g., software or hardware).
Position papers (max. 3 pages excluding references):
Papers raising points for discussion within the scientific community.
All submissions should be anonymized. Accepted papers will be submitted for online publication to CEUR-WS.org. Submissions that exceed page limits will be rejected without a review.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by two anonymous, independent reviewers.
All accepted papers will be invited for an oral presentation during the workshop.
