Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford
I'm a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford.
I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems and a Joint Quantum Institute Postdoctoral Fellow and a member of the Condensed Matter Theory Center at the University of Maryland, College Park.
I pursued my graduate studies at University of Colorado Boulder, where my advisor was Professor Michael Hermele, and I received my PhD in 2019.
My research lies at the intersection of condensed matter physics and quantum information science. I am particularly interested in the role of generalized symmetries in quantum matter and their applications to quantum computing and quantum error correction.
Previously, I have developed broad theoretical frameworks for understanding topological phases of matter, especially those protected by crystalline and quasicrystalline symmetries. My work also spans topological band theory, higher-order topological superconductors, and fracton topological orders.
A list of my publications can be found on Google Scholar.
My recent works can also be found on arXiv.
