Welcome to my lab!

We are working on genetic modification of rice and jute crops to improve their biotic and abiotic traits. Our goal is to develop crops that are more resistant to pests and diseases, and can withstand harsh environmental conditions such as drought and salinity.

We are looking for young and enthusiastic researchers to join our team for at least a 6-month project. Candidates must fulfill our institutional rules (DBT-Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha), which include a minimum educational qualification of a Master degree or bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in a relevant field like Biotechnology/Life Sciences and a training fees around INR 35000 for 6 months.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and work on cutting-edge technologies in plant biotechnology and genetic engineering. You will also be involved in various aspects of research, including experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
