This Privacy Policy explains how ShuttleScore (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use the ShuttleScore mobile application (the “App”).
Information We Collect
User-entered data: Player names and optional avatars you type in to set up matches. This data is stored only on your device.
App settings: Language preferences, sound/dark mode toggles, and match rules (e.g., singles/doubles, sets, points, deuce).
Match data: Scores, serving order, match history, and statistics generated during play. Stored only on your device.
We do not require an account and do not collect identifiers such as your name, email, phone number, or location. We do not collect analytics or tracking data.
How We Use Information
Provide core features: scoring, serving logic, momentum chart, match history.
Remember your preferences and last session for convenience.
Improve reliability and user experience on your device.
Data Storage and Security
On-device storage: We store settings and match data locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms (where available) and shared preferences.
Security: We use reasonable technical measures, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Data Sharing and Transfers
No sale of data: We do not sell or rent your data.
No routine sharing: We do not share your data with third parties, except as necessary to enable optional platform-specific functionality (e.g., in-app purchases handled by Apple/Google).
International transfers: We do not transfer your data to our servers; data remains on your device.
In‑App Purchases (If You Use Support/Donations)
Payments are processed by the platform store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not receive your payment credentials.
The store may provide us with non-sensitive purchase status to unlock features.
Children’s Privacy
The App can be used by all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Player names are user-entered and stored on-device.
Your Choices and Controls
Edit or delete: You can edit or clear player names, match data, and settings from within the App (e.g., reset, clear history).
Uninstall: Removing the App deletes all locally stored data.
Language and settings: You can change language and other preferences in the App.
Permissions
Network: May be used for in-app purchases or to display policy/links if opened in a web view. The App does not transmit your match data to us.
Cookies and Tracking
The App does not use cookies or third-party trackers.
Third‑Party Links
The App may display links (e.g., privacy policy) that open external websites. Your use of those sites is governed by their policies.
Data Retention
All match data and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Changes will be effective upon update in the App. Please review periodically.
