I am Shushan Wu, a postdoctoral associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, advised by Professor Hongtu Zhu and Professor Tengfei Li. I have obtained my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia, advised by Professor Wenxuan Zhong, Professor Ping Ma, and Professor Wenzhan Song in the Big Data Analytics Lab. I received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Nankai University in 2020.

Statistical inference and uncertainty quantification

I develop statistical learning and inference methods for biomedical imaging and spatial transcriptomics. My research connects uncertainty quantification, data-efficient learning, and informative biological representations.
