Centennial School

Our school has been operating since 1912 and now has a history of over a century. Although it is small in scale, we continuously develop various course features, especially excelling in printmaking education.

Fu, Lu, and Shou

They are the 100-year-old mango trees, and they have their own names!

Because they are very old, from left to right, we called them “The gods of Fu, Lu, and Shou”.(福祿壽)Fu means “Fortune”, Lu is “Happiness”, and Shou means “Long life”. They are precious memories from graduates of the Japanese colonial period.

Since these trees are over 100 years old, the Tainan City Government has listed them as treasured old trees.

Double-Glazed Blackboard

An antique that has been well-preserved since 1930, given as a gift for the 20th anniversary of the school’s founding

Shuren Elementary School, Houbi District, Tainan
