Hi! My name is Shunsuke Kamiya (call me Shun, SK, or whatever you like).
I am currently a post-doc researcher in the field of machine learning at the Matsuo-Iwasawa lab in the Department of Engineering at the University of Tokyo. I got my Ph.D. degree at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo (supervisor: Masafumi Oizumi). I used to be a surgical resident at a hospital in Okinawa prefecture (the southernmost & westernmost island prefecture of Japan).
I'm Japanese and now live in Tokyo with my wife and two boys (or, two little monsters).
