I am a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, INDIA. 

I received my PhD from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, Uttar Pradesh in 2005. My Ph.D thesis focused on the effective design of Neuro-Fuzzy Systems. My current research work focuses on the theoretical aspects and practical applications of Evolutionary Computation.  I am heading the Evolutionary Optimization, Learning and Adaptive Systems (EvOLve) research group.
