This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Shuffleboard handles information when you use the app.
Summary: Shuffleboard does not require an account and does not operate its own online service for collecting personal information. Player names, game settings, progress, career records and similar game data are stored locally on the user's device unless the user chooses to export a backup.
Shuffleboard may store game-related information on your device, including player names entered by you, settings, progress, match history, career progress, unlocked content, trial status and purchase-entitlement status.
This information is used only to provide the game's features and is stored locally on your device. Shuffleboard does not transmit this locally stored game data to a developer-operated server.
If you choose to export or restore a backup, Shuffleboard uses Android's system file-selection features so you can choose where the backup file is saved or which backup file is restored. Shuffleboard does not upload these backup files to a developer-operated server.
Shuffleboard offers an optional lifetime unlock through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Shuffleboard does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Google Play may process purchase and transaction information as necessary to provide billing, restore purchases, verify entitlement and prevent fraud. Google's handling of that information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.
If you choose to leave a review, Google Play handles that interaction. If you choose to contact the developer using a feedback or support option, any information you voluntarily include in your message is handled by the email or communication service you use and is used only to respond to your enquiry.
Shuffleboard does not sell personal information. The app does not share locally stored game-profile or progress information with advertisers or other third parties.
Game data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it, reset the relevant game data, remove the app, or restore different backup data. Because Shuffleboard does not operate a user-account database, there is no developer-held user account to delete.
If you send a support or privacy enquiry, the information in that correspondence may be retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, keep appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations.
Shuffleboard does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated server. The game does not include public chat, social networking, targeted advertising or a developer-run account system.
Shuffleboard is designed so that core game data remains on the user's device. Purchases are handled through Google Play's billing system rather than by Shuffleboard directly.
This policy may be updated if Shuffleboard's features, data practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at the same public privacy-policy location with a revised “Last updated” date.
For privacy questions about Shuffleboard, please contact the developer using the support/contact email shown on the Shuffleboard Google Play store listing.
