I completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography with Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from Jadavpur University. Then I did my Master of Science (MSc) in Geography from Jadavpur University. I am currently pursuing a PhD on the application of Polarimetry Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) in disaster management.
