Shubhangi Majumdar
Shubhangi has completed her M.Sc. degree from University of Calcutta in 2019 with First class distinction. Her postgraduate research was on synthesis and study of photo catalytic activity of nano-composites. Currently she is doing her Ph.D. as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow under supervision of Prof. Pramit Chowdhury from the Department of Chemistry, IIT Delhi. Her current research interests are Ultrafast Spectroscopy, Protein Dynamics and Macromolecular Crowding.

Prof. Chowdhury received his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Presidency College, University of Calcutta, 1997. He completed M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, 1999. In 2004, he earned his Ph.D from Iowa State University, USA under the supervision of Prof. J. W. Petrich. Thereafter, he joined the group of Dr. Feng Gai at University of Pennsylvania, USA, (Sep-2004 to January-2009) as postdoctoral fellow. In January 2009, Prof. Chowdhury joined the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and currently he is holding the position of Professor. His present research interests focus on the macro molecular crowding, protein folding & aggregation, protein dynamics, single molecule imaging, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and ultra fast spectroscopic study.
