Shubham Mess ("the app", "we", "us") is a mess (canteen) meal-tracking application operated by Pacepost Technologies Pvt Ltd. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
When you register and use Shubham Mess, we collect and store the following, only to operate the meal and billing service:
Your name — to identify you as a member of the mess.
Your mobile number — used as your login identifier.
Your password — stored in encrypted (hashed) form; we never store or see your actual password.
Your meal entries — the meals you log each day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and any special items) and the associated charges.
Your payment records — amounts recorded as received against your bill by the mess administrator.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers for advertising, or any data unrelated to mess meal tracking.
To let you log in and record your own meals.
To calculate and display your monthly bill and payment balance.
To allow the mess administrator to manage members, view meals, and record payments.
Your data is used solely to run the mess service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
You can see only your own meals, bills and payment status.
The mess administrator can see the meal and payment records of members of the mess, in order to run it.
Data is stored on a secured server operated for the mess. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way encryption (hashing). Access to the service is protected by authentication. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your information is retained for as long as you are a member of the mess. If you wish to have your account and personal data removed, contact the mess administrator or us at the email below, and your record will be deleted.
The app is intended for adults managing or using a mess service and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
