Shuang Zhou

Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Arizona State University, which I joined in August 2020. Before that, I obtained my Ph.D. in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University in 2020, where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Debdeep Pati and Prof. Anirban Bhattacharya. Before joining the Ph.D. program at TAMU, I obtained my Master degree in Statistics from Florida State University and Bachelor degree in Mathematics from Shandong University, China.

Research interests

My research interests center around statistical inference under non-standard constraints, Bayesian nonparametric and hierarchical modeling, Bayesian asymptotics, high dimensional probability and statistics, as well as statistical applications in nuclear physic and actuarial sciences.
