I am an assistant professor at the Department of Social Policy of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I am also part of Population at LSE.

My research areas intersect demography, education, and social policy. I am currently studying the causes and consequences of low fertility in China and the role of education in fertility transitions in developing countries.

I hold a Ph.D. in Demography and Social Policy from Princeton University and received my B.S. and M.A. from Stanford University

Previously, I worked and consulted for the World Bank, PARIS21, and Oxford Policy Management in the areas of education and statistical capacity development.
