Shuang Gao

Hi, I'm a Ph.D candidate in Information Systems at W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. I am advised by Dr. Pei-yu Chen (Chair), Dr. Olivia Liu Sheng (Committee Member), and Dr. Jiding Zhang (Committee Member).

My research centers on emerging technologies for information provision, integration, and protection in digital platforms. Specifically, I investigate how the provision or design of information through technologies such as AR/AI on two-sided platforms can impact user behavior and seller options. I'm also enthusiastic about the ethical issues and regulatory problems in emerging technologies. 

Before my PhD journey, I earned a M.S. in Data Science at CDS, New York University, and my bachelor's degree in Economics at CEMA, Central University of Finance and Economics.
