SRHS is excited to share the application link for students wishing to participate in Career Immersion Days at SRHS. The first career immersion day is scheduled for January 3, 2025. Application link:  https://forms.office.com/r/QWFLjU1P5w

• This form is for the January 3, 2025 sessions. There will 2 sessions offered this day. The morning session will be from 8:00-12:00 pm with a capacity of 20 students. The afternoon session will be from 1:00-5:00pm with a capacity of 40 students. Students will only be eligible to select 1 session. 

• The sign-up form will accept submissions between 11/22/24 – 12/16/24.

• Students will receive notification if they are selected by 12/20/24. If not selected, students will receive notification of upcoming Career Immersion Days. We will offer additional sessions during Spring Break. We hope to have those dates and sessions confirmed by the 12/20.

Career Immersion Days were created to expand the number of outreach opportunities to students as they explore healthcare careers to build the pipeline of future healthcare workers. These days will follow a group model versus individual shadowing opportunities to allow for a more meaningful experience and to accommodate more students.

How will we select? Once all applications are submitted, a committee will review each submission to offer a fair representation of students across our service area. We will be monitoring participation as we offer additional sessions to ensure each session offers opportunities for new students. I encourage students to only submit for the session that matches their college or career goals, so they remain eligible for upcoming sessions.
