Teaching

I enjoy teaching and often train lab staff on UNIX shell programming, fMRI data analysis using AFNI software, cortical surface reconstruction and data visualization using FreeSurfer, etc.  I also conduct training sessions for staff on human subjects’ research under IRB-approved protocols.

Mentoring

I enjoy working with trainees and helping them navigate their careers in science.  I am currently mentoring two post-baccalaureate trainees and a doctoral student.
