I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). My work centres on designing and evaluating gender-transformative interventions to improve adolescent maternal and child health, as well as preventing economic violence against women in low- and middle-income countries. Currently, I serve as a senior researcher for the ECOVI project, where I oversee intervention design and primary data collection with 2,250 couples across three Indian states.
Previously, I contributed to studies on intimate partner violence in Tanzania at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and managed large-scale research on COVID-19’s impact on gender inequities in India and Zambia. My field experience spans South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, with expertise in mixed-methods research and policy-relevant evidence synthesis.
I have published in journals such as Journal of Global Health, Social Science & Medicine, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters, and presented at international conferences, including the IHEA Congress and SVRI Forum. Beyond research, I teach global health courses and advise organisations like WHO’s Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent Health (GAMA).
