“derive your essence from art”
Tanjore painting, with its intricate detailing and vibrant storytelling, has fostered in me an understanding of how art, in any form, serves as a bridge to connect various cultures and perspectives. It is a visual narrative of the rich Indian culture, and teaching this art form has given me the opportunity to share a part of my cultural heritage with others. The following are examples of paintings I have created over the past few years after first discovering the form during COVID-19.
