Hey, I am Shriya. Welcome!
I am a PhD student in the Human Development & Family Sciences Department at the University of Delaware. I am working under the mentorship of Dr. Heather Farmer, and my primary research interests include Biopsychosocial Aging, Health Equity, & Brain–Behavior Relationships. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Union College in Neuroscience and Political Science. I have developed a strong research background, with experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods. My interdisciplinary research projects have motivated me to pursue research that contributes to the betterment of human lives.

I am passionate about science communication and enjoy translating complex research and scientific ideas into engaging and accessible writing for broader audiences. Outside of academics and research, I love writing, hitting the gym, travelling, listening to music, going on spontaneous side quests (the unplanned kind are the best!), and ICED COFFEE & TEA!
