1. Title: Optimal Deployment of Wavelength Converters in WDM Optical Networks, October 2016 – April 2017

Objective: To find out the optimum number of wavelength converters required in the network and their optimal positions along with optimum resource allocation techniques

·          Simulated WDM optical network and obtained results to analyze the effect of wavelength converters on WDM optical network in terms of blocking performance

·          Proposed optimum and cost effective solution for any optical network

·          Proposed optimum and advanced routing and wavelength assignment techniques

·          Proposed call queuing as an effective solution over call blocking

·          Learnt about optical networking, WDM optical networks, blocking model, converter deployment, and optical communication

2. Title: Home Automation using Embedded Systems, December 2014 – April 2015

Objective: To use embedded systems to control various equipments using remote control or own mobile

·          Designed a circuit using ATMEGA microcontroller for automatic and manual control of electronic and electrical devices

·          Implemented the circuit and devices like touch switch and a wireless mobile connector with audio support on PCB
