I am a biophysics researcher at Oregon State University in the USA, working on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). I received my PhD from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Germany, where my research focused understanding the origin of life on earth. Over the course of my scientific career, I have developed a strong expertise in fluorescence microscopy.

Along with my research I am an active science communicator. I volunteer at the local science museum, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, where I engage with diverse audiences to share my expertise and promote meaningful scientific learning experiences.
