I took admission in Ph.D. in the Department of Liberal Arts (English), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, in January 2020. However, I could not complete my doctorate on personal grounds and had to convert it to a two-year Master of Arts by Research degree.

My research interests include fin-de-siècle discourses around crimes and criminality, detective, mystery, and police fiction, British and Indian English literature of the Victorian period, American transcendentalism, gender and marginality studies, queer studies, and popular literature.

I submitted my Ph.D. thesis on 12 Februrary 2025 in the Department of English, Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia, West Bengal.
