Shree Swami Abhiramdasji Tyagi
Introducing Shri Abhiramdas Ji Tyagi is like lighting a lamp before the sun. With utmost respect, humility, and modesty, we would like to write about him. In the 13th - 14th century, Jagadguru Shree Swami Ramanandacharya Ji guided spiritually dissatisfied Indian people and saints. Sri Swami Abhiramdas Ji is one of the famous saints of Ramanandi Samaj. Shree Swami Abhiramdas Ji aims to convey life's true meaning and share spiritual knowledge, traveling worldwide. He strongly believes that the primary purpose of human life is to live for the benefit of others.
“केवलाघो भवति। केवलाघो भवति।” (“kevalāgho bhavati. kevalāgho bhavati”)
He cites the above mantra from the Rigveda, emphasizing that living solely for oneself or one’s family is a significant sin. When people choose to live for the greater good, they become free from karma, and God will support them. Even Shri Krishna has mentioned in The Bhagwad Gita that “One is entitled to keep only as much wealth as is necessary for one’s maintenance (the rest must be given away in charity). If one accumulates more than one’s need, one is a thief in the eyes of God, and will be punished for it.”
Gurudev's divine personality attracts his followers, offering peace, love, and happiness. Lord Rama has gifted the world with Shri Abhiramdas Ji Tyagi, a figure of magnetic spirituality. His followers call him Shri Ram and worship him as they do Lord Shri Ram.
Our Activities
Our mission
Shree Ram Seva is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the teachings of Sanatan Hindu Dharma and its values through religious, charitable, cultural, and educational activities. The organization's work is inspired by the teachings of H.H. 1008 Swami Shri Abhiramdas Tyagiji Maharaj, an enlightened Saint from the Himalayas and a follower of Shri Ramanand Sampraday.
The organization's mission is carried out through the following activities:
Promoting Hindu Sanatan Dharma: Shree Ram Seva promotes the teachings of Hindu Sanatan Dharma through various forms of expression and media, including the establishment of temples, ministries, charities, organizations, schools, and other institutions.

Supporting Visits of Holy Saints: The organization provides financial help to sponsor and facilitate visits of holy saints, particularly from India, to the USA, to promote Hindu practices and philosophies such as yoga, chanting, meditation, and vegetarianism, with the aim of enhancing peace, bliss, and divinity.
Supporting Organizations Serving Monks and Cows: Shree Ram Seva provides financial assistance to organizations in India, such as Swami Ramanand Sant Sevashram, which provide services to monks (accommodation, food, and medical care) and to Gaushalas (cow shelters) that care for abandoned cows.
Promoting Activities and Organizations: The organization promotes religious, cultural, educational, and charitable activities or organizations in the United States and around the world.
Fundraising and Disbursement: Shree Ram Seva collects and disburses funds for its maintenance and the accomplishment of its purposes.
