Microcrystalline Cellulose & Carboxy Methyl Cellulose
Microcrystalline Cellulose & Carboxy Methyl Cellulose
Microcrystalline Cellulose: This ingredient is simply a refined wood pulp. That's right, it's sawdust. Like silica, microcrystalline cellulose is also a relatively harmless filler that is used as an anti-caking agent, an emulsifier, and a capsule-filler in supplements. Cellulose is one of the most important excipients used in tableting due to its excellent binding properties in the dry state. Moreover, cellulose is the most abundant natural polymer on Earth. This biopolymer is present in plant cell walls and, accordingly, is a renewable raw material.
