Our company (now known as Showtime Entertainment™) was named Showtime Productions™ when first publicly opened in 1970. From 1965 to 1998 we were in cooperation with Afton Robotics™, you may recognize this name from the well-known Fazbear Entertainment™. Johnathon Afton created our first animatronics. You may not recognise the name Johnathon Afton, he is William Afton's father. Planning of the animatronics was started in 1965, and blueprints were released in 1966. Production was started in late 1966 and they were ready by mid 1967. Planning of the resturant was started in 1968 and we hired Contruction Administration LTD to build the pizzaria. We opened our first pizzaria in 1970 named Blackbear's Pizza Palace. This pizzaria was shutdown in 1975 due to the animatronics breaking down mid-show. They were also very dirty and loyal customers complained about a foul smell coming from the animatronics. They were de-commissioned. After years of planning and remaking the animatronics, we re-opened in 1977, but we closed in 1980 after Johnathon Afton was found in the back room dead in a wearable Spring Alpha suit. His family were devastated, and sued us. We reopened in 1989 as Showtime Entertainment™ with Blackbear's Family Diner with the help of Johnathon's Son, William Afton. He created the extremely high tech (at the time) animatronics. Unfortunately, 7 children went missing, they were not found. We were shutdown in 1998 after the children (Jacob Williams, Leah Smith, Clare Williams, Cole Williams, Layla Davis, Liam Brown) were not found. Showtime Entertainment™ paid for all funerals and services. We privately reopened in 2015, then went public once again at the very beginning of 2020.
