PS5. I was doing a side mission (mid/late game) that involved getting two crates of Chinese Chomping Cabbages for a gentleman and delivering them. Clearing the first camp it on and my controller begins vibrating. This is around the time of The Centaur and the Stone, for reference. It kept vibrating. I left the camp, and we kept vibing. Tried turning vibration on and off, switching controllers, but it seems to be an in game bug. A bummer because I really love the subtlety of the flight vibrations. This is hardcore earthquake vibes. Anyone else have this happen or just me?

Senior Airman Austin West, 8th Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, and MWD Bonus, wait their turn for familiarization training during a joint medical evacuation training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, April 13, 2021. Sarah - I really hope you drop by my site and check out our failed "seeing-sound" machine experiment! LOL - you basically demonstrated what I was wanting to show my son. Such a cool idea - We can now give this a try! He'll be ecstatic!

Like other reptiles, the sea turtle ear has a single bone in the middle ear that conducts vibrations to the inner ear. Researchers have found that sea turtles respond to low frequency sounds and vibrations.

Most researchers believe that sea turtles have an acute sense of smell in the water. Experiments show that hatchlings react to the scent of shrimp. This adaptation helps sea turtles to locate food in murky water.

Skull vibration-induced nystagmus test is useful for revealing false bilateral areflexia: such patients have no responses for caloric test and rotatory test (for low frequencies), no HSN, and no responses to vHIT for the six SCC (middle range frequencies) but show a SVIN proving that residual sensory hair cells at least on one side are still present and responding at high frequencies. Hence, a patient with a so-called bilateral vestibular areflexia should be documented not only with the caloric test, vHIT, and otolithic tests but also with SVIN (27).

If a singer sings the same musical note that matches the resonant frequency of the glass, the sound waves will vibrate the air particles around the glass at its resonant frequency. This will make the glass begin to vibrate, too. If a singer sings loudly enough, the vibrations can cause the glass to vibrate so hard that the glass shatters under the strain.

In 2005, the Discovery Channel television show MythBusters proved that a voice alone could break glass. Rock singer Jamie Vendera shattered a wine glass with a 105-decibel wail. By comparison, normal speech is usually around 50 decibels.

The VIBXPERT II from PRUFTECHNIK is the mobile power package for fast and reliable recording and analysis of machine condition data. After a very short measuring time, the current machine status data is shown on the color display. The maintenance expert can analyze the data on site. From the recorded machine condition data, all values can be read from the various characteristic value modes that are important for an exact machine condition analysis.

What ages are included in summer camp?Mi-Sci has camp sections designed for three age levels. Age levels are defined by the grade your camper will enter in the fall. Our lesson plans are written to target specific ages. Older camp groups have more advanced material with a heavier focus on technology and week-long projects.

Where are the camp classrooms?Camp is held in designated classrooms located in the adjoining University Prep Science and Math Middle School (UPSM). Mi-Sci and UPSM share an entrance, which will be used as the location for camper drop-off and pick-up.

Does my camper need to bring a lunch?Yes, campers should bring a lunch labeled with their names, cold pack/silverware if needed, and water bottle or beverage. Microwaves and refrigerators are not available for camper use.

Do I have to agree to the Photo Release? No. The photo release consent is optional. If you choose not to consent to the photo release, your camper may be removed from certain activities where picture/videography is taking place to prevent your camper from being included in the picture. You will be asked to verify the photo release form at Monday check-in.

My child has been exposed to someone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. What do I need to do?Please keep your camper at home. Contact the camp manager as soon as possible to explain the situation and to discuss exposure protocols.

Arizona Science Center is thrilled to bring our 1,000-square-foot version of The Science of Guinness World Records to locations throughout the state! As with the larger exhibition, guests will be drawn in by inspirational stories, as well as intriguing artifacts that will be showcased throughout the exhibition. Engaging and interactive record attempts inspire guests and ignite their desire to set their own records.

Think of a frying pan set over an open camp stove. The fire's heat causes molecules in the pan to vibrate faster, making it hotter. These vibrating molecules collide with their neighboring molecules, making them also vibrate faster. As these molecules collide, thermal energy is transferred via conduction to the rest of the pan. If you've ever touched the metal handle of a hot pan without a potholder, you have first-hand experience with heat conduction!

The new Alpicool U series includes Alpicool U45, Alpicool U55, Alpicool U65, Alpicool U75, a 12v dc portable outdoor camping refrigerator with wheels, a shockproof travel car freezer, with removable battery (customized), and an LED control panel.

In the Sound and Vibrations 1: Rubber Band Guitar lesson, students make a simple guitar from a recycled box and rubber bands and explore how sound is caused by vibrations. Plucking a rubber band string makes it vibrate, which causes air molecules to vibrate, which results in a sound wave that travels to the ear and is interpreted by the brain as a sound. Get inspired! See how this family experimented with a rubber band guitar and even added a guitar neck from a cardboard tube. (For a related informal science activity, see Make a Rubber Band Guitar.)

The Sound: Can You Feel Music? video lesson covers the same science concepts as the lesson described above but in a self-paced video lesson format. After learning about sound waves, how sound is made, and how vibrations relate to the sounds we hear, students use a recycled box and rubber bands to make a simple guitar. They are guided in using the homemade rubber band guitar to investigate whether or not they can feel (and even see) music. 2351a5e196
