ShowCard Privacy Policy
ShowCard Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
ShowCard does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. Everything you type stays on your phone.
This policy describes how the ShowCard Android app (package app.showcard), developed by Nizami Budagov, handles information.
Information you enter
ShowCard lets you save short texts as cards (a title and a text to show) and display text full screen. Your cards are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.
Text typed into Quick Show is kept only in memory while the app is running and is not saved.
No internet access
ShowCard does not request the Internet permission. The app cannot send or receive data over the network.
No accounts, analytics or ads
ShowCard has no sign-in, no analytics or crash-reporting services, no advertising and no third-party tracking. It does not collect device identifiers, location, contacts or usage statistics.
Backups
ShowCard opts out of Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer, so your cards are not copied to Google Drive or to another phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data permanently deletes all cards.
Screen privacy
On Android 12 and earlier, screenshots and screen recording are blocked while a card is shown or edited. On Android 13 and later, the app's preview in the Recents screen is hidden on those screens.
Children
ShowCard does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Google Play
When you download ShowCard from Google Play, Google may process information under its own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The developer does not receive personal data from Google about you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
