Rules

We welcome you to play the course, but have some basic expectations of our guests.

Please sign the Log Book/Waiver before playing. It is required. You are playing the property at your own risk and a waiver is required in order to play.

Tee Times. You must contact us in order to get permission to play the course. There are no walk-ons or random tee times. The property is under video surveillance (with remote access). We request that you provide 24 hours notice before your requested tee time.

Garbage. Pack it in. Pack it out. We don’t want it.

Respect The Property. This is our home, so please treat it as you would your own home. Please do not walk through the garden beds, unless there is a defined path. Some of the holes utilize a little of our neighbor’s land, so please be respectful, and friendly, if you see them.

Be Careful. The back of the property has some extreme elevation. If the ground is wet or covered with leaves, this may cause an “interesting dynamic” when you are trying to traverse the course. Be careful and make certain you have good footing at all times.

Feedback. We want your feedback – good, bad, indifferent. This isn’t a championship-level course, but we are always looking to improve it’s play. It is listed on DGCR and UDisc, so feel free to provide an honest review. The intent of the course was our own interest in having a course on our property, but also offering a playing option in the Clayton area, which is lacking multiple disc golf options, currently.

Play Notes

There are three 9-hole courses (Orange, Black and Grey) playing to 11 total baskets. The signs and navigational aids on the property will help you play without a guide and the UDisc site has updated maps. With three 9-hole courses, you are able to play 6 unique 18-hole layouts. If this is your first time playing the property and interested in playing 18 holes, we recommend playing the Orange course for the front 9 and Black course for the back 9. It is close the original 18-course on the property. If you are daring, you can play all 27 holes for over 6000 feet of disc golf! If you play them all, we recommend playing the playing order of Orange, Black and Grey.

Layouts

All layouts start on the north side of the property sharing the same tee.

Orange - this 9-hole layout is the front 9 of the original 18-hole course on the property. It is the shortest 9-hole layout on the property and slightly favors a LHBH/RHFH player with many risky greens.

Black - this 9-hole track is the longest layout on the property in distance and doesn't favor a certain handedness. It is likely the toughest layout on the property, but has less risky greens than the Orange and Grey layouts.

Grey - this 9-hole layout is more RHBH/LHFH friendly, and while not the longest in distance, has more longer uphill elevation hole and might play a little longer than the Black layout.

Tee Areas Tees are turf (on ground or decking) except for one concrete (driveway) tee. If the tees are wet or slick, teeing off from the side of the tee is fine.

Baskets - The course has a mix of Innova DISCatcher Sport and Titan Sports Disc Catcher Basket (a knock-off of the DISCatcher Sport) and one DGA Mach III basket. The Innova and Titan baskets look identical and have single chains, but catch decently due to the chain gauge.

Out of Bounds – Any shot that is beyond the property boundaries (white stakes/rope, white fence, white whiskers, brick fence), garden beds or in the road and driveway is considered out of bounds. Out of bounds is clearly marked on every tee sign. EVERY HOLE has an opportunity to go out of bounds, so please be make note of the out of bounds before teeing on each hole.

Mandatory (Mandos) – There are multiple mandos on the course. The drop zone for any missed mando will be next to the mando. If that lie is not possible, due to the mando being located in an OB area, you be required to take your next shot from the previous lie (if the missed shot was your tee shot, you will need to re-tee) with a +1 stroke penalty.

Record Board - If you hit an ace or beat the listed hot round – put it up there to immortalize your performance for all to witness.

Pets - We have two pitbulls and while we love logs, no other pets are allowed on the property, since they are very territorial.

Cost - The course is free to play.

Thanks for coming and playing our course. We appreciate the interest and hope you enjoy your round!
