ADRIAN BENEDICT MAGCUYAO

Hello, I'm Adie Magcuyao, a 1st-year Bachelor of Multimedia Arts student specializing in Film. It's my passion to help people remember and cherish their moments through visual storytelling, focusing on film production, photography, and photojournalism.

My works showcase where emotions are seen, felt, and remembered. Whether a small event or concerts, on the streets or fields, I want to bring you something home to be framed or shared. 

Since my freshman year, I've taken part in my college's creative community. Working in the production team of KAMALAYAN and joining PILAK. These organizations opened more doors than I anticipated. It pushed me to think about what I need to do to achieve the output I need for the story and the final output I want. For more than 4 years of being a photographer, I was allowed to experience the many roles, from camera operator to a production assistant. Notably adapting and doing it right when the situation becomes unpredictable.

These experiences shaped me into the hybrid shooter I am today, yet photography holds a special place in my heart. Over the years, being part of a SOCCOM member, a photojournalist, and a photographer. Now building my path, I won't waste these new opportunities to better refine my craft, but hone my storytelling style.

My goal is to provide a snapshot of a moment, a scene, a frame, where they are pulled back and bring a smile to their faces. May it be seen digitally or in person, bringing a smile and making you happy is my goal.
