Shakirah Lee is a photographer and visual artist from Brooklyn, NY. She mainly works in NYC. Her work explores the interpersonal chemistry between various entities showcasing of creativity, fashion, beauty, art, language and emotion. Shakirah Lee also works as an apprentice in the photography/ videography studio which is apart of Made in Brownsville’s training program. Shakirah Lee is also an entreupreuneur. When Shakirah Lee is not designing intricate and divisive visuals, she enjoys spending her leisure or downtime contemplating new ideas to better involve the community into physical activities such as double dutch and assisting with various community events within NYC. Additionally, Shakirah Lee also has plans to obtain a certificate as a licensed cosmetologist.
