Brooke Johnson, affectionately known as 'BNJ,' is a Maryland-based entrepreneur, creative, photographer, mother, and business professional with a passion for turning ideas into experiences and capturing the moments that matter.
Her journey has never been defined by just one title. With a background spanning business, marketing, management, operations, event management, customer experience, leadership, and creative services, Brooke has built a career centered around bringing ideas to life and creating meaningful experiences for others.
Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and later earned her Master of Arts in Management with a concentration in Public Administration. Her education, combined with years of professional experience, has given her a unique ability to blend creativity with strategy, organization, and business operations.
While much of her professional career has been rooted in business and administration, Brooke has always had a creative side. Photography, content creation, event design, visual storytelling, and creating memorable experiences became natural outlets for that creativity. What began as a passion gradually evolved into entrepreneurship and ultimately became part of the foundation for BNicoleJ & Co.
Today, Brooke wears many hats. She is a business owner, photographer, creative director, content creator, event professional, and entrepreneur who is constantly exploring new ways to create, serve, and grow.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Brooke considers motherhood one of the most important parts of her life. Being a mother has shaped the way she approaches leadership, entrepreneurship, and life itself. It has strengthened her patience, resilience, adaptability, and determination while inspiring her to create a life built around both purpose and possibility.
Personal growth is also an important part of Brooke's story. She believes deeply in the process of “becoming her” — intentionally evolving into the woman a person knows she is capable of becoming. Her own journey has required embracing change, prioritizing wellness, stepping outside of her comfort zone, navigating new seasons, and learning that growth sometimes requires the courage to reinvent yourself.
Those experiences have shaped not only the woman Brooke is today, but also the way she approaches business. She believes in creating with intention, treating people well, remaining teachable, delivering with excellence, and never being afraid to evolve.
For Brooke, entrepreneurship is about more than owning a business. It is about building something meaningful from the intersection of purpose, creativity, experience, and service.
