If you want maximum vibration damping and a rugged brass core for heavy-duty towing or rough terrain, choose Shophubio Brass Core Rubber; if you need a complete 20-piece kit with aluminum alloy fasteners for general repairs and universal fitment, choose KICHOUSE 20pcs.
• Shophubio Brass Core Rubber: Its biggest strength is the dual-material construction of a solid brass inner core wrapped in high-grade rubber, offering superior thread strength and vibration absorption. The trade-off is that it comes in a small 4-piece set, which limits its utility for large-scale restoration projects or replacing multiple damaged points simultaneously. This pick is for the rider who prioritizes long-term durability and specific mounting integrity over quantity.
• KICHOUSE 20pcs: Its biggest strength is the sheer volume of hardware included, providing a comprehensive 20-piece kit with aluminum alloy bolts, clips, nuts, and grommets to handle multiple repair jobs at once. The trade-off lies in the material choice; while durable, the aluminum alloy construction offers different thermal and vibration characteristics compared to the specialized brass-rubber hybrid design of the competitor. This pick is for the DIY enthusiast looking for a universal solution to replace worn-out windscreen and fairing hardware across various motorcycle models.
The Shophubio Brass Core Rubber Mounting Nuts are engineered with a very specific purpose in mind: protecting your windshield from the relentless forces of the road. When you are riding, especially under load or towing a trailer, the engine and chassis transmit significant vibrations directly into the mounting points. These M5 nuts are designed to act as a buffer. The high-grade rubber exterior is not just a cosmetic cover; it is a functional layer meant to absorb shock before it can crack the windshield or loosen the threads. This makes them an ideal upgrade for anyone who rides aggressively or frequently encounters bumpy surfaces where standard metal-on-metal connections tend to fail prematurely.
At the heart of this product is the solid brass core. Brass is known for its resistance to corrosion and its ability to hold threads securely without stripping, even after repeated tightening and loosening cycles. When combined with the rubber exterior, you get a component that maintains structural integrity while dampening noise. The M5 threading ensures compatibility with most standard motorcycle windshields and fairings, making them a direct drop-in replacement for worn-out originals without requiring any special tools or adapters.
However, the value proposition here hinges on quantity versus quality. Each package contains only four nuts. If you are doing a full rebuild of a motorcycle fairing system where every single mounting point needs replacement, buying multiple packs of Shophubio will become expensive and tedious. Furthermore, if your primary concern is simply having enough parts to fix a few loose screws on a fairing panel, this limited count might feel restrictive. You should skip this product if you are looking for a bulk kit to tackle a fleet of bikes or a massive restoration project where you need dozens of fasteners at once. Instead, reserve this purchase for critical mounting points where the extra cost of the brass core and rubber design is justified by the need for superior vibration control and longevity.

The KICHOUSE 20pcs Motorcycle Windshield Screws Kit takes a different approach to solving the problem of loose or missing windscreen hardware. Rather than focusing on a single high-performance component, it offers a broad-spectrum solution for maintenance and repair. This kit includes a mix of aluminum alloy bolts, fairing clip nuts, well nuts, and grommets, all designed to work together to secure your windscreen and body panels. The inclusion of twenty pieces means you have enough hardware to address multiple issues simultaneously, whether you are fixing a cracked grommet, replacing a stripped bolt, or upgrading several mounting points on a single bike.
Aluminum alloy is a smart choice for this application because it strikes a balance between weight and strength. It is lightweight, which helps keep the overall mass of the motorcycle down, yet it is robust enough to withstand the rigors of daily riding. The black finish provides a sleek aesthetic that blends well with most modern motorcycle color schemes. This versatility is particularly valuable for riders who do their own maintenance in a home garage and need a single kit that covers the majority of common failure points without having to hunt down brand-specific parts.
The ride comfort aspect mentioned in the product features highlights the kit's ability to reduce annoyance and wind vibration. While the mechanism differs from the dedicated rubber-damping of the Shophubio, the combination of well nuts and proper grommets included in this set does serve to isolate the hard plastic of the windscreen from the metal frame of the bike. This helps achieve a quieter ride and prevents the rattling that often plagues older motorcycles. However, if you are specifically towing heavy loads or riding on extremely rough terrain where the stress on the mounting points is extreme, the aluminum construction might not offer the same level of specialized damping as the brass-core alternative. This kit is best suited for general upkeep, seasonal tune-ups, or replacing a handful of lost screws rather than reinforcing a single critical joint against extreme vibration.
• Best for Vibration Damping: Shophubio Brass Core Rubber wins here due to its dedicated rubber exterior and brass core design, which physically absorbs more engine and road shock than the aluminum and grommet setup of the other kit.
• Best for Quantity and Versatility: KICHOUSE 20pcs is the clear winner for anyone needing a large supply of fasteners, offering twenty pieces of mixed hardware compared to the four-piece limit of the Shophubio set.
• Best for Heavy-Duty Towing: If you are planning to use your motorcycle for towing, the Shophubio option provides the added stability and thread strength of brass, which is less prone to stripping under the constant torque of a towed load.
• Best for Quick Repairs: KICHOUSE offers a more convenient "grab-and-go" solution for the average rider who just needs to tighten a loose windscreen or replace a broken clip without waiting for a specific part number.
• Best Material Durability: Shophubio uses brass for the core, a material renowned for resisting corrosion and maintaining thread integrity over time, whereas KICHOUSE relies on aluminum alloy which is strong but chemically distinct.
• Best Value for Large Projects: If you have multiple bikes or a major fairing overhaul coming up, the KICHOUSE kit provides a much better cost-per-fastener ratio by including twenty components in one box.
• Best for Noise Reduction: Both aim to reduce rattles, but the Shophubio's rubber interface is specifically engineered to target vibration-induced noise, making it the superior choice for a quiet, serene riding experience.
• Best for Universal Fitment: Both claim M5 compatibility, but the KICHOUSE kit includes a wider variety of fastener types (clips, well nuts, grommets), potentially covering edge cases where a simple nut won't suffice.
In my opinion, I would buy the Shophubio Brass Core Rubber if I were preparing my bike for serious towing or long-distance touring where vibration management is critical. The combination of brass strength and rubber damping addresses the root cause of many windscreen failures—the stress caused by road feedback. While the four-piece count is limiting, the quality of those individual components ensures that the critical mounting points remain secure for years. Conversely, if I were just doing routine maintenance or needed to replace a bunch of lost screws around the fairing, the KICHOUSE 20pcs would be my go-to for convenience and volume. Ultimately, for the specific intent of securing a windscreen against the harsh realities of towing, the specialized engineering of the Shophubio unit offers peace of mind that a generic multi-pack cannot match.
Yes, the Shophubio Brass Core Rubber nuts are explicitly designed to fit not only motorcycle windshields but also ATV bodywork panels, thanks to their standard M5 threading and versatile size.
Absolutely, the KICHOUSE 20pcs set is described as a complete hardware kit that includes aluminum alloy bolts, fairing clip nuts, well nuts, and grommets to facilitate DIY repairs.
Based on the design specifications, the Shophubio Brass Core Rubber is better for eliminating rattles because its rubber exterior is specifically engineered to absorb engine and road vibrations that cause cracks and noise.
Both products are designed for easy installation; the Shophubio nuts feature an engineered process for hassle-free setup without special tools, and the KICHOUSE kit enables quick repair or upgrades right in your garage.
