Shoot ("the app") is a real estate video app published by Zovack. This policy explains what the app collects, what it deliberately does not, and what you can do about it.
If you have questions, contact zovack2025@gmail.com.
Your videos and photos never leave your device. Filming, editing, captioning and export all happen locally on your phone. We have no copy of your footage and no way to obtain one.
What we do store is your account details and information about your projects — titles, property details you type in, and how many projects you have created.
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
your email address
your name and profile picture, as held by your Google account
a unique account identifier
We use this to keep your projects associated with you and to count your monthly usage against your plan. Signing in is only required to create a project — you can install and explore the app without an account.
For each project you create, we store the details you enter:
project and property title, description, and address
property details such as price, bedrooms, bathrooms, size, and listing type
your branding details: business name, phone number, email, website, and profile photo, where you choose to add them for use in video intros and closing cards
how many projects you have created, and when
Note that a property address is stored on our servers. If you would rather it were not, you can leave the address field blank; the app works without it.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): if the app crashes, we receive a technical report including your device model, operating system version, app version, and the state of the app at the time. It is linked to your account identifier so we can tell whether a crash affected one user or many.
Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): the app reports basic usage automatically — which screens are opened, session length, device model, general region, and your device's advertising identifier. We use this to understand which features are used and where people get stuck.
Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging): a device identifier that would allow us to send you a notification.
We want to be specific, because this is unusual for a video app:
We do not upload your videos or photos. There is no server-side copy. The app contains no code that uploads media, and our file storage is configured to reject uploads outright.
We do not upload your audio. Automatic captions are produced by a speech recognition model that runs entirely on your phone. Your recordings are never sent anywhere for transcription.
We do not collect your location. The app requests no location permission.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Exported videos are saved to your device's gallery, where you control who sees them.
Permission
Why
Camera
To record property walkthrough clips
Microphone
To record audio with your clips, and for on-device captions
Notifications
To show progress while a video is exporting or being analysed
When you import existing footage or a photo, the app uses the Android system picker. That gives it access only to the specific item you select — it never gains access to your wider photo library.
We use Google Firebase to provide authentication, database storage, crash reporting, analytics and push notifications. Information described above is processed by Google on our behalf, under Google's terms. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not share your information with anyone else, except where we are legally required to do so.
Your account and project information is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.
We keep your account and project information for as long as your account exists. Crash reports and analytics are retained according to Google Firebase's default retention periods.
Delete your account and data. To have your account and all associated information permanently deleted, email zovack2025@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account, your project information and your usage records within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Deleting your account does not remove videos already saved to your device's gallery — those are yours and remain under your control.
Access or correct your information. You can view and edit your profile details in the app. For anything else, email us at the address above.
Opt out of analytics. You can limit ad personalisation and reset your advertising identifier in your device settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Contact us and we will honour them.
Shoot is a tool for property professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app.
