In late October 2024, I released the alpha version of my experimental Dark PsyTrance track on SoundCloud. This project traces back to 2019, a pivotal year in my life following the loss of both my job and home in December 2018.
The idea for the track emerged unexpectedly one night while I was crashing at a friend’s place. In a drunken haze, I started strumming random chords on the guitar and shouting improvised lyrics. My friend, who was more sober, recognized something in the raw chaos and urged me to write down the words I had been singing. That spontaneous moment became the seed of Project RE:19.
"RE" stands for "REPLAY," and "19" represents 2019, a year of transformation. What began as fragmented, unstructured ideas gradually evolved into a fully realized track. After releasing the alpha version in October 2024, I continued refining the sound until March 2025, when the track was finally complete.
RE:19 is more than just a PsyCore track. It is a personal, raw, and experimental journey that reflects the emotional turbulence I experienced. It captures the feeling of being lost yet pushing forward, much like the chaotic, evolving nature of its sound.
I began with a pencil, sketching different ideas until one stood out. A mysterious figure took shape, cloaked in shadows with flames burning behind it. Three nails hovered around its head, while its face remained hidden in the darkness. With the right manipulation, this sketch can be transformed into a striking album artwork for the track.
After finishing the sketch, I took a quick photo of it with my phone. That spontaneous decision gave the image a raw, unpolished feel, which suited the project perfectly. Instead of aiming for perfection, I wanted to embrace a more natural approach. I brought the image into Adobe Photoshop, removed the paper texture, and kept the rough pencil lines to preserve the sketch’s original energy. I then manipulated the image into a looping animation, adding textures to each frame to give it more depth and movement. I experimented with black, white, and red to create a flashing, chaotic effect that matched the track’s intense energy which I wanted the visuals to reflect the music’s unpredictable flow. After testing different versions, I ended up with a design that fully captures the raw intensity of RE:19 and brings the music to life.
After finishing the soundtrack and album artwork for RE:19, my creative journey took an unexpected turn. While scrolling through Instagram reels, I came across stunning 3D models, sculptures, and animations made in Blender. Seeing these digital artworks sparked my curiosity and pulled me into the world of 3D design, inspiring me to explore the software and experiment with its endless possibilities.
After endless hours of exploration, an idea took shape. I decided to incorporate an old monitor display into the artwork, showing the animated album artwork GIF I had created in Adobe Photoshop. The monitor would flash with the GIF, set against a surreal Sci-Fi-inspired backdrop with a PsyTrance-futuristic environment and moody dark lighting. This concept allowed me to push the visual storytelling even further.
Using Blender, I was able to bring the entire scene to life. My previous experience with Cinema 4D made the transition smoother, and through hours and hours of hands-on experimentation, I refined my skills enough to create a seamless extension of RE:19’s evolving aesthetic.
To bring the RE:19 visualizer to life, I animated a 15-second looping sequence using Blender, adding motion and atmosphere to the project. Rendered in 4K, this visualizer captures the raw energy and aesthetic of the track.
The Visualizer will be premiered on:
on April 20, 2025, at 7:00 PM (Bangkok Time, UTC+7)
While finalizing the mix for RE:19, I used Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to create the Display Lyrics Video, a clear and standalone version that enhances lyric visibility for viewers. This video, rendered in 4K, will later appear on a TV screen within the full Blender-based lyric video. Throughout this process, I also explored new soundscapes, further shaping the project's evolution.

For this project, I created a visually stunning 3D Lyrics Video, built around a single continuous scene. The setting features a floating TV suspended in a cyber-loop, surrounded by mesmerizing lights and fluid animation. Using Blender, I designed this seamless loop to capture the song’s energy and futuristic vibe, with intricate lighting and smooth transitions that keep the viewer's attention throughout. The 4K rendered video transforms the lyrics into an interactive experience, perfectly complementing the track’s atmosphere. Notably, the display lyrics video will be showcased on the screen of the floating TV, further enhancing the connection between the visuals and the music.

Looking ahead, I am currently working on developing new ideas, directing concepts, and visualizing the music video for the project’s future direction. I will be taking on the role of both director and shooter for the Music Video, bringing the creative vision to life. In addition to the video, I am also working on a Visualizer and two Lyrics Videos, which are still in the works. These upcoming projects will help broaden the creative scope and provide a more immersive experience for both viewers and listeners. Alongside this, I am also focusing on other music projects, particularly a track called aching*wisdom, which I am currently working on. I'm excited about the future of the project and look forward to sharing these new developments as they take shape.
