CHAMPIONSHIP

The SWAL is in charge of carrying out the World Amateur Shogi Championship (WASC), which is played online on the 81dojo website. The championship will not be by groups or countries, each player is independent.

The duration of this championship will be two months and will be held twice a year.

Registration for the championship will last one month.

The system used can be Round-robin or Single elimination.

At the end of the championship, a diploma will be sent by email to the players who have qualified among the top three places. Each player will be free to choose whether they want their real name or simply their 81dojo nickname to be written on the diploma.

The championship is free, any player can participate and there will be no teams, but there may be exceptions in which a player will not be accepted, this will depend on the criteria of the organizers.
