VoiceAlarm (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is developed by Masahiro Matsunaga (hereinafter referred to as "the Developer"). This page is used to inform visitors regarding the policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the App.
If you choose to use the App, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
For a better experience, while using our App, the Developer may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information or allow permissions to access specific functions of your device.
The App requests the following permissions for the purposes described below:
1. Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO)
Purpose: The App uses the microphone to allow users to record their own voice or sounds to be used as an alarm tone.
Data Handling: The audio recorded via the microphone is saved locally on your device's internal storage. This data is NOT collected by the Developer nor transmitted to any external servers. It is used strictly for the alarm functionality within the App.
2. Storage/Media Permission (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
Purpose: The App requires access to your device's storage to:
Save the voice memos you record.
Allow you to select existing music files on your device to set as an alarm sound.
Data Handling: The App only accesses the files you select. No personal files are uploaded or shared.
3. Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Purpose: Required (on Android 13+) to display the alarm screen and notifications when the alarm goes off.
I want to inform you that whenever you use the App, in a case of an error in the App, I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing the Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information (even if stored locally), thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
