Dress Rehearsal and Show Week Agenda and Info:
Dress Rehearsals and Show rules:
1) Leads arrive 30 minutes early for dress rehearsals for mic checks. During shows, mic checks will be one hour before curtain.
2) No food backstage. Eat before you arrive and do not plan on eating while you are here. (Monday and Tuesday are an exception as some folks are coming straight from work, but eat in the house ONLY. No food backstage)
3) There will be chairs near the tunnels, in the tunnels, and in the back hall, use them. Do not hang out in the wings.
4) No phones backstage. Leave them in your bag, in your car, or at home. In your bag is not advised because things get stolen.
5) If you see people need help, HELP THEM. Help as much as you can.
6) Stay out of the way. If people are coming through, move. Do not hang out with friends. Keep your head up and be alert at all times for cues or people who need assistance.
7) No one backstage except Addams cast and crew, and Parent Volunteers. This includes before and after the show.
Procdures for Arrival and Departure during shows and dress rehearsals that required makeup (all but Sunday require makeup)
2 hours before curtain (show start)
1) Ensemble members who own their own costume should arrive fully dressed*** and used the SIDE STAGE DOOR two hours before curtain.
2) They immediately proceed to the following locations to do make-up:
Festercesters: Girls' Powder Room in Lobby.
Male Dinnercesters: Guys Powder Room in Lobby
Female Dinnercesters: Upstairs bathroom or Girls Powder room in Lobby (your choice)
Mooncesters + Jasmine: Girls Dressing room upstairs backstage
Male Leads: Downstairs dressing room backstage
Female Leads: Upstairs dressing room backstage
*Your makeup bag that you and your buddy share will allow you to use TWO SPONGES per night. One for white and one for black makeup. Bring extra sponges if you think you'll need more.
Clean up the dressing rooms and bathrooms before you come to the house! If you are in the lobby bathrooms, they must be SPOTLESS. - Festercester parents, please help your kiddos clean up!
3) After you are in costume and make-up, please go sit on the FRONT ROW. Leave your belongings in the tunnels. Nothing is allowed to be left in the house.
4) At 1 hour before curtain, we will circle up onstage, warm up, stretch, do a costume check, and review focus points for the show, and check our props.
5) at 30 minutes before curtain, the house opens and no one is allowed in the house or lobby or to break curtain for any reason.
*Please use the restroom after circle so that we can keep the restrooms empty until the end of the show if possible.
*If you must use the restroom, use the one upstairs in the girls dressing room backstage. Ask a girl to check to be sure everyone is dressed.
AT THE END OF DRESS REHEARSALS AND SHOWS, YOU ARE NOT DISMISSED. THERE ARE JOBS FOR ALL ACTORS THAT IF DONE CORRECTLY AND QUICKLY WILL TAKE LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AND WE CAN THEN LEAVE.
YOU WILL HAVE TEN MINUTES TO MINGLE WITH FAMILY, AND THEN WE WILL ALL HAVE A QUICK MEETING ONSTAGE BEFORE WE DO OUR JOBS, CHANGE (IF YOUR COSTUME IS STAYING AT THE THEATRE) ,THEN GO HOME.
***DO NOT GO OUT TO EAT OR ANYWHERE IN PUBLIC IN YOUR COSTUME. IF YOU FEEL YOU'LL GO OUT TO EAT BEFORE OR AFTER THE SHOW, BRING YOUR COSTUME AND CHANGE AT THE THEATRE.

1 hour before curtain: Cast circle, warmups, and stretches (onstage)
30 minutes before curtain: house opens, no one in house or lobby
