PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
We believe that SACRED HEART OF JESUS CATHOLIC SCHOOL exists because of Christ, the foundation of the whole educational enterprise of our school. With religion as the core, the principles of the Gospel, the teachings of the Church and our human experiences are our educational norms, and the school’s internal motivation and final goal.
We believe that our students are God’s children, created in His image, endowed with gifts, talents and potentials. Hence, it is our responsibility to provide them a learning environment that nurtures their multiple intelligence and recognizes their individual differences for holistic development.
We believe that all personnel, in partnership with the parents, are witnesses of service, humility, justice, charity and simplicity, in teaching the minds and transforming the hearts of our students.
We believe that we will be of service to God and our Country by following the examples of Jesus.
Inspired by our devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we believe that We FORM CHRIST in every member of this institution.

SCHOOL CORE VALUES
By showing initiative and willingness to render a helping hand and not expecting anything in return.
“In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
By accepting one’s strengths and weaknesses as well as recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of others.
“He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.” (Psalms 25:9)
By giving everyone the possibility to enjoy a decent life worthy of becoming children of God.
“Learn to do good, seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widows’ cause.” (Isaiah 1:17)
By showing our special love for the poor through good deeds.
“A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.” (Proverbs 22:9)
By being simple in everything we do in our thoughts, words and actions.
“All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made,” (John 1:3)
