I am Shiyun Xu, a Ph.D. student in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS) at the University of Pennsylvania. My research interests are optimization, deep learning theory, and high-dimensional statistics. My current work involves interpretable ML, model calibration, active learning, and differential privacy.
