Shi, Yao

Dr. Yao Shi is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems at the Cameron School of Business, University of North Carolina Wilmington.

His research focuses on the impact and management of information systems, artificial intelligence strategy, digital platforms, software development and testing, cybersecurity, and IS education. Dr. Shi teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as Database Management Systems, Business Intelligence, and Systems Analysis and Design. He actively contributes to the Information Systems community as a track chair, associate editor, and reviewer for leading conferences and journals.
