A reliable, cost effective, mechanised / automated intelligent humanoid robot to assist nurses in their daily tasks for moving and turning patients and giving the patients a bath.
The project aims at reflecting the proficient usage of electronics and robotics. It deals with the advancement of communication mechanism between the people with disabilities (deaf and mute) and the people blessed with the ability to speak and hear.
The project aims to lower the barrier in communication with the people who are deaf and mute. Traditionally, flex sensors have been used to detect the hand movements. But it is inaccurate and gives the same value no matter where the bent is. To solve this problem, we placed potentiometers at every joint of our hand so that we can detect exact hand movement and convert sign language in speech(or text). The person has to wear the glove and he can communicate using sign language. His phone needs to have the application that will generate corresponding speech that the other person can listen.
This invention relates to guiding and assisting tourists at tourist destinations using Received Signal Strength Indicator triangulation mechanism. Through this, precise location of a person can be known which can be used to guide them and provide them information about that place. The system involves mobile application as well as a device, both perform same function i.e. they can be used to access the information about the place by just pressing a button. The application and device have compass functionalities also. Link
