Mode of Admission
Admission to IISERs is exclusively through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), which is a computer-based test
IISER's are the top premier research institute in India just after IISC Bangalore. IISER means Indian Institute of Science Education And Research and IISc means Indian Institute of Science, their name also suggest the motto and similarities of both institutes. There are seven IISERs in India at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati to integrate and promote interdisciplinary science education and research.
