Nazareth Primary School students of Class 4 C conducted a special assembly on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The assembly began with a prayer song and prayer, seeking divine blessings for wisdom and strength.

The theme of the assembly was Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, celebrating the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior. A brief introduction highlighted Shivaji Maharaj’s bravery, leadership, and his contributions to the Maratha Empire.
A musical skit was presented, portraying the historic event of Shivaji Maharaj’s encounter with Afzal Khan at Pratapgad.
The performance commenced with a dramatization of the event, showcasing Shivaji’s courage and intelligence, and concluded with a vibrant lezim dance, reflecting the spirit of Maharashtra.
The students then shared the values to be learned from Shivaji Maharaj, such as bravery, strategic thinking, leadership, justice, respect for all religions, and love for the motherland.
An energetic boys' dance performance on the song further added to the enthusiasm and spirit of the assembly.
The Headmistress Sr. Stella Mary addressed the students, appreciating their efforts and emphasizing the importance of Shivaji Maharaj’s teachings in daily life.
The assembly concluded with students standing in pledge position, followed by the National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism and unity among all.
The assembly was a great success, leaving students inspired by Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy and the values he stood for.
