Yixuan (Shirlyn) Wang
I am a PhD candidate in Applied and Mathematics and Scientific Computing at University of Michigan . My advisors are Trachette Jackson and Marisa Eisenberg. I specialize in mathematical oncology, which studies cancer initiation, progression, and therapy through data-driven mathematical models and simulations. Here are more details about my research and teaching experience.
Before grad school, I received my B.S. in Applied Mathematics and B.A. in Economics at University of California, Los Angeles.
Before that I lived in Singapore and China.
