My name is Shirley (yes, like Shirley Temple), and while the name has cast me as an outsider to my Lebanese counterparts in the country, it makes the filmmaking journey feel like home. Throughout the journey I have found myself attracted and persistent in the production department; especially in the organizational and analytical skills it helps me acquire. 

For as long as I could remember, cinema has been my go-to comfort and inspiration that still permeates my day-to-day life, activities, and way of thinking. Becoming part of the field is a reciprocal duty I have to those who have shaped me.
