Newcomers

Join us for a fun weekend of archery and camping  in the Black Hills of South Dakota for a hands on medieval archery demonstration that is designed to be welcoming to new archers young and old and all those interested in history, archery and  the Society for Creative Anachronism. 

When- May 16th, 17th and 18th

Where- Alkali Creek Campground (see map)

There are no site fees but we are accepting donations to help pay for the campsites we have reserved.  
Planned activities:

• Various archery shoots by different archery marshals.  

• Night Archery Shoot

• Camps tours.

• Bardic (singing, storytelling, poetry and other performing arts) 

Things you will need to bring

• Food and water

• Chair

• Camping equipment if you plan on spending the night.  

• Good Shoes

• Fun loving attitude 

Things that would be nice to have 

• Sunscreen

• Bug Spray

• Large hat

• Rain gear

• Shade/Rain Canopy.
