Shirah Dedman is a storyteller, filmmaker, community educator, city councilmember, and mom who believes in the power of stories to bring people together. 

Whether through storytelling, community engagement, or crafting herbal teas and natural care products with her sister, Shirah is drawn to the ways we connect with one another and care for the communities and places we call home.

She is also the author of All Around the Sound: A Ferry Song, inspired by her life in the Puget Sound and her hope that every child grows up feeling they belong.
