This policy explains what data Ship It! handles, why, and the choices you have. Ship It! is an offline-first idle game. Your game progress is stored on your own device. The data described below is only what supports ads, crash reporting, analytics, and the optional online leaderboard.
Advertising identifiers and ad interactions. We show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, coarse device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Google's partner policy.
Analytics and diagnostics. We use Firebase Analytics (in-app events and device identifiers) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash logs, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash) to keep the game stable and understand which features are used.
Account data (optional). By default you play as an anonymous guest and we store only a random account ID. If you choose to create or link an account, we store your email address (email/password sign-in) or your email and name (Google sign-in) so your progress and leaderboard entry stay with you across devices.
Leaderboard entry (optional). If you opt into the online leaderboard, we store the studio name you enter and your in-game score. Your studio name and score are visible to other players. Do not enter personal information as your studio name.
Purchases. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation of what was purchased to grant your entitlement; we never receive your card or payment details.
The game also reads your device model and OS version locally to pre-fill a bug report only when you tap "Contact Us" and choose to send the email. That information is not transmitted unless you send the message.
To display and measure ads, and to offer an ad-free option.
To diagnose crashes and improve performance and gameplay.
To save and restore your progress and your leaderboard standing.
To deliver in-app purchases and subscriptions you buy.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data is processed by our service providers: Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play). Advertising and analytics identifiers are shared with Google to provide those services. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
On-device data: use Settings → Clear My Data in the game to erase your local save at any time.
Account and leaderboard data: to delete your account and your leaderboard entry, email contact@techtenstein.com from the address on the account, or use the in-app account controls. We will delete it within 30 days.
Ship It! is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to opt out of personalized ads through your device's "Ads" settings. Contact us to exercise these rights.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
