Ship Splash – Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information the mobile game Ship Splash (the “Game”) collects, why, and what choices you have. The Game is developed by Muhammed Yasir Kanitoğlu (“we”, “us”).
Summary
The Game has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
Your game progress (level, coins, lives, settings) is stored only on your device.
We use one analytics service, GameAnalytics, to understand how the Game is played and to fix problems.
The Game shows no ads. It offers optional in-app purchases, which are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.
We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Information stored on your device
Game progress and settings are saved locally on your device so you can continue where you left off. This information is not sent to us. Deleting the Game deletes it.
Analytics (GameAnalytics)
The Game includes the GameAnalytics SDK, provided by GameAnalytics ApS. When you play, it sends the following information to GameAnalytics:
Identifiers: a random user ID created by the SDK and a device identifier (such as Apple’s Identifier for Vendor). These are not linked to your name or contact details.
Gameplay and interaction data: for example which level you started, won or lost, how long a level took, how far you got, and which boosters you used.
Device and performance data: device model, operating system and app version, frame rate and basic hardware information.
Diagnostics: error messages and crash information.
Purchase data: if you buy something in the Game, which item you bought, its price and currency.
GameAnalytics may also use your IP address to estimate an approximate location (country level). We use this information only to balance level difficulty, improve the Game and fix bugs and performance problems. For details on how GameAnalytics handles data, see the GameAnalytics privacy notice.
In-app purchases
You can buy optional items (for example coin packs) inside the Game. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store under your Apple Account; we never receive your name, card or payment details. Apple tells the Game which item was purchased so it can be delivered, and Apple's "Restore Purchases" feature lets you get back one-time purchases on a new device. We record the item, price and currency of each purchase through GameAnalytics to understand how the Shop is used. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
Advertising and tracking
This version of the Game does not display advertising and does not ask for permission to track you. We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not share it with data brokers. If a future version adds ads, we will update this policy before that version is released.
Sharing
We share the analytics information described above only with GameAnalytics, which processes it on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, in line with GameAnalytics’ retention periods. Data stored on your device remains until you delete the Game.
Children
The Game is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can stop all data collection at any time by deleting the Game.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, the UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its processing. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Users in the EU/EEA, the UK and Türkiye
If you live in the European Union / European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR) applies. If you live in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies.
• Data controller: Muhammed Yasir Kanitoğlu, reachable at the email address below.
• Legal basis: we process the analytics data described above on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working, fixing errors and balancing level difficulty (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
• Processor and transfers: GameAnalytics ApS (Denmark, EU) processes this data on our behalf. If data is transferred outside the EEA, the UK or Türkiye, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Your rights: you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can object to analytics at any time; the simplest way to stop all collection is to delete the Game.
• How to make a request: email us. Because the Game has no accounts, we may ask for information that helps us find the data linked to your device. We will reply within one month.
• Complaints: you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Türkiye: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
